I’m Sion — a design engineer focused on turning ideas into real, manufacturable products.

My experience spans aerospace (Rolls-Royce PLC), the bicycle industry (Commencal Bikes), consumer electronics and product design (FYi Design Dept), and construction/special projects (Linden/Aritzia), along with a range of independent work.

I’ve worked closely with manufacturers in Taiwan and across Asia, been part of R&D teams, and spent a lot of time hands-on — building, testing, and learning through fabrication. My work spans the full development cycle, from early concept through to production, and has included contributing to an Apple patent. I focus on the details that define real quality products: creative design, manufacturing and process excellence, materials and supply chains — and the decisions beyond the render that elevate and innovate how things are brought to life.
